The latest addition to Xiaomi's smart eyewear line, the Mijia Smart Audio Glasses 2, combines cutting-edge audio technology with a fashionable design. The glasses are 30% thinner than the previous version and feature a slim frame with temple arms that are 5mm thick, making them comfortable to wear all day long. Weighing just 27.6 grams, they feel lightweight and relieve pressure on the nose from prolonged use.

To accommodate a range of tastes, Xiaomi has unveiled five fashionable designs: Deep Space Titanium, Metal Aviator, Hybrid Browline, Classic Boston, and Hybrid Aviator. Additionally, the glasses feature an incredibly flexible “piano steel” hinge that is designed to survive over 15,000 bends. The second-generation quick-release mechanism allows for easy, single-handed lens swapping.

One of the standout features is one-touch recording, which allows users to take instant voice notes with a simple long press on the temple. For privacy, an indicator light turns on whenever recording is active. The glasses also support voice assistants and real-time audio broadcasting. The 2C magnetic charging system enables a full charge in just one hour, and a 10-minute charge provides four hours of listening time. The Xiaomi Mijia Smart Audio Glasses 2 will launch via a crowdfunding campaign on March 26, 2024, through Xiaomi Youpin, with an introductory price of NZD 236.
